Although Aikido and Shotokan Karate are different martial arts, both schools are committed to preserving traditional martial arts training and providing serious instruction in a welcoming dojo environment.
Traditional Shotokan Karate in Fremont
Fremont Shotokan Karate traces its history to Bernardo Mercado Sensei and Harry Imamura Sensei and continues the tradition of teaching practical, disciplined Shotokan Karate in the Fremont community. Training includes fundamental techniques, kata, fitness, mobility, self-defense principles and progressively more advanced practice.
The program welcomes beginners as well as experienced martial artists. Classes are available for children and adults, beginning at age seven.
