Tri City Aikido – Martial arts in Fremont, CA

Celebrating 30 Years of Aikido ExcellenceTri City Aikido Fremont California 589x424

Welcome to our newly relocated martial arts dojo at 37427 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536, directly across from Holy Spirit Church. After three decades of enriching our community with traditional Japanese martial art of Aikido, we've found a fitting new home in the heart of Fremont CA.

Why Tri City Aikido?

Three Decades Strong
Since our founding in 1996 by Anthony Campagna Godan (5th degree black belt), our dojo has been a cornerstone of teaching and training in the authentic martial art of Aikido in the Bay Area—now approaching our 30th milestone.

Deep Roots in Japanese Tradition
We carry on teachings from the esteemed Kumano Jyuku dojo in Japan, where Morihei Ueshiba taught Aikido. Yearly instruction from Tasaka Shihan (7th‑Dan) keeps our training methods true to the source.

All Ages, All Skill Levels
Our welcoming environment encourages learning for teens and adults as well as children (ages 4+). We offer empty‑hand techniques, weapon arts (sword, staff, knife), joint locks, throws, and more.

Non‑Competitive, Real‑World Self‑Defense
Aikido isn’t a sport—it’s an answer to conflict. By blending harmony with effective defense techniques, we teach you how not to fight.  Instead, you learn how to respond decisively with kinetic force in a non-conflicting way that is respectfull towards our training partner.

What Makes Us UniqueTri City Aikido Shomen 531x355

Traditional Japanese Etiquette
The Aikido training at Tri City Aikido supplies the proper etiquette, terminology, and mindset to seamlessly integrate at any authentic Aikido dojo worldwide.

Weapon-Based Philosophy (“Shin Ken”)
Our weapons courses instill serious, mindful practice—one simulated cut can change everything. We carry that mindset into every empty‑hand session.

Philosophy of True Victory
Inspired by Morihei Ueshiba's mantra—Masa Katsu Agatsu Hayabi—we focus on self-mastery, not defeating others.
